Description
Airlock for NISSAN AP136
The airlock is a direct replacement differential for your existing one. It can be used both as a conventional differential and as a 100% locked, either front or rear. When switched on, it locks the two axles and thus transmits the effort to the two wheels 50 on 50 % to get maximum grip on the pavement. The locking mechanism is controlled by the driver using a button on the dashboard of the car. The front lock can be activated when driving on slippery surfaces with reduced traction and deactivated when driving on a surface with good traction to achieve maximum cornering control. For security reasons, the front lock cannot be used if the rear lock is not activated;
The new model of airlocks is characterized by a better way of locking the differential (larger switch, with reduced wear of the sealing components), the planets and satellites are of an improved alloy for higher strength;
